Akasu would like to thank… ME!

About a week after the Pick I wrote for Akasu hair studio + spa ran in a March issue of Portland Picks, I received the most unexpected, but heartwarming card in the mail. All the gals (and one guy) from Akasu got together and wrote me personal notes of thanks for “Picking” them! I was really blown away by such a touching gesture. (You can click the picture above for a bigger image, to read what they wrote.) I don’t get paid much for scooping and writing for Picks, but this kind of stuff makes it all worth it.
